Golden Thread Society
The Golden Thread Society is a brand new giving program that is part of our annual appeal for donors who have the capacity to make a significant contribution. The Mill Museum is growing and we are at a pivotal point. We are looking for supporters who can help us increase community access to our programs. Your financial support can have a HUGE impact on creating a thriving community. Individuals and businesses can join the Golden Thread Society with contributions of $1000 or greater.
There are three recognition levels:
Powerloom Circle ($1000- $2,499)
Take us to the next level with this powerful donation! Your support will get the gears in motion to move ahead with new programming and exhibitions! Together we can weave a strong foundation for success!
Jacquard Circle ($2,500 - $7,999)
The Jacquard loom was an ingenious invention that changed the boundaries of weaving with unlimited design possibilities. A contribution of this size will facilitate creative programming and innovative initiatives that benefit our community.
Tapestry Circle ($8,000 or more)
Be the Unicorn! Your one-of-a-kind contribution will truly elevate our community by making our wish list goals come true. Let’s weave our dreams into a cultural enriching masterpiece together!
Golden Thread Society participants will be recognized in our publications throughout the 2025 calendar year and be invited to a special Donor Recognition event with the Heritage Winooski Mill Museum trustees, where you will receive updates on upcoming exhibits and programming.
Please help us reach our goal of raising $20,000 by year’s end! Your support will help us continue to invest in vital community programs and advance our mission to weave our past with what matters to our community today.
